Today, it was suppose to be Fruit day. I brought grapes and others brought their share. The guidelines was not food except for fruits and water. By 9am, we had lots of fruits on the table.
I cheated. First thing in the morning I had coffee. Then in the afternoon, I walked into a surprise gathering. They have satay, ice cream and the normal food stuff. I gobble like 5 sticks of satay, 1 large sundae ice cream and 3 roti jala. Yum yum.
Lucky my staff did not see me. Else I would need to pay fine.

Reading Magazine

I hate buying expensive magazine but I am compelled to do it every month. On monthly basis, I will buy few magazines without fail. One would be a health magazine (Men's Health - Oversea version), another is a local car magazine (Top Gear Malaysia) and the last one is Japanese Performance. All in all it cost me 60 bucks. Lucky tax deductible up to 1000 ringgit.
What I hate is that I can finish Top Gear in an hour. That's 10 bucks la. OK if compared to Setarbak kopi maybe cheap but this magazine come out ONCE a MONTH. I have to blardy wait another 29 days for the next edition! It is similar situation with the other 2 magazines.
Well, at least it's not like Female, Cleo or other women's magazine where 75% of the pages are adverts! Count yourself if you don't believe me. Dang, 28 more days and counting...

Fruit Day
Tuesday is Fruit Day in my department.By that I mean all ladies in my dept will only eat fruits for 24hrs. Maybe I pushed them too hard that they gone fruity!! Hehe
I was tasked to bring grapes. They said I need to bring enough to last the whole day. Question is - what is enough for 10 ladies for the whole day? I can't figure it out so I am going to go on a limb and buy 3kg worth of grapes. Hopefully it will be enough.
We will have bananas, apples, mangoes, honey dew, star fruit and other buah buahan. It's a circus out there people and I am the ring master. LOL

Happy about something
I am happy with my mods. This baby can outrun most exotic cars and I am paying little money for it. The turbo is straining now, there is a possibility it will needs to be replaced in the near future (excuses sexuces).
Oh well, this is one way I release stress. Even my Director knows about my passion.
It's weird, when we can afford a fast car, we are too old to drive it to full potential. When we have the best reflex, we can only afford a blardy Proton. That's why some ah bengs and ah mats mod proton until it literally fly.... off the road! They forgot, upgrade engines must also upgrade handling and brakes.

Bad Day

I was very pissed this morning. I won't tell you why but I would like to apologize to friends who did not receive any response back when they sms. So so sorry guys. It was not intentional, I was very pissed.
So damn pissed that I went to search for meaning of life! There is no mountain to climb in Selangor to seek divine words , so I did the next best thing....I sleep and I sleep.
Yes, I can sleep anywhere, anytime, anyplace. I can sleep after drinking coffee. I can sleep in a noise train. I can sleep in the jungle. You got the message.

Bahasa and Hotel
Being able to converse in Bahasa does not mean that I can understand Indonesian language. I was in Garuda flight and the lady next to me spoke a language so foreign it might as well be Swahili. I know it's one of the Indonesian lingo cause the flight attendant understood her but I can tell you it's not Bahasa Indonesia (like you see on TV), it's not Java, it's not english, its not german, its not french and it's not many things. I couldn't figure it out.
The Hyatt Regency is a good hotel. Very resort like and very comfy. I slept well except for some noises and call received from KL (yes Adlina it's YOU!) that woke me up early in the morning. It's a nice place to go for holiday if you ask me. However, I have been told that Melia hotel is very popular with Malaysian cause it's near the shopping place.
Unlike many other bloggers, I am not a 'camera whore' (what's the equivalent for male? camera gigolo? hehehe) So you guys just have to imagine la cause I am not posting pictures. Got meeting to attend.

Good flight
On transit in Jakarta now. The plane I took from KL was full and I have to say the ladies flying to Jakarta are hot! Alex Yoong and wife was on the same flight. Adriana right? She is a hot mama as well.
I had a chat with the chief steward during the flight and he gave me few feedbacks on our cost cutting measures. I gave him some thoughts as well.
Other than that it was an uneventful flight. But what's cool is this wireless at Starbucks in Jakarta and my phone: can blog on the fly. Hehe i love technology. Donno what I will do without internet.

Meeting miles away
I am going to a meeting in Indonesia - yogjakarta to be exact and before that I am suppose to go to an official launch of MAS Regional Lounge.

Tax Time
It's that time of the year again. No it's not christmas, or raya or deepavali or wesak. It's declare your-income-and-pay-pak-lah time. Ok, maybe not Pak Lah but the gomen.
For fun, I logged in to tax department and I add my earning details without any deduction. Yikes!, have to pay way too much tax!. Then I did for real ( draft version 1 la). Wowser! still need to pay gomen. My current deduction did not cover 100% to total tax payable :(
My action plan is simple. Get deductions as much as possible. So I need all your PC receipts, Book receipts and Medical receipts too. Just kidding.... Hope gomen not reading my blog. (Of course not la, ONLY 1 person reading it!!!! based on my survey kan)

Introducing - Girl Monday
I am trying to introduce a new segment. I'll call it Girl Monday Column. That means, every Monday when you drop by, you will see a picture of a ......girl....surprise! Ha Ha.
Why the heck am I doing it? I dunno. Maybe it is my attempt to make this blog itsy bitsy more interesting. Do drop comment if you strongly are offended by this or if you love this section. Don't worry, I enforce a NO NUDITY POLICY in this blog.

Sunday Drive - Post Mortem Part 1
It has been a tiring day. I woke up at 7 this morning and met the guys at 8am in Ampang. 20 cars turned up for the drive. After a safety briefing, off we went. The drive to Kuala Kelawang was fun. The faster cars went first and the second batch followed. I was in the second group.
The road was as good as I remembered. All too soon, I got bored. That's when I overtook the second group convoy leader and hit the open road. I made good time but my driving still needs to be improved! I braked too early and my car unsettled in few corners. (That means more mod to improve handing? Don't know)
Managed to catch up with the first team and drove with them to Mid point destination. Once reaching there we got news one of our members is having problem. He lost control of his rex and hit embankment and spun out. He was a newbie and this is the first time he followed a bunch of us. BTW, he is a Doctor. We managed to get a flatbed tow truck for him and we continue our journey. We were behind by a couple of hours.

Cleavage everywhere

Lepaking at my fav coffee shop on Friday night gave me a new perspective on current trend. I saw cleavage everywhere. It's like a show-your -cleavage-friday at The Curve. Everywhere I turn, I can't get away from the view. Felt like I won the lottery!
Some girls/women do not have 'enough' to show but they wear low cut dress/top anyway. I believe I have more 'chest' than some of them. I am not complaining, I love the view but it's getting pretty strange. Strange because I have never experience seeing so many hidden mountains. Instead of Couching Tiger Hidden Dragon the movie, it's Couching Cock Hidden Mountain. LOL.
Good Saturday

I am in a good mood today. I woke up at 9:30am which is quite late by my standard. I had 2 packs of my favorite nasi lemak from Restaurant Gembira in Shah Alam (it has to be the sambal!) and I read 2 newspapers. Then I went to sleep again. Hehehe. Absolute bliss.
This is absolutely relaxing. I love this kind of weekend where you have no appointments, no dates, no lunches, no nothing.
Work has been hell. On friday I had back to back meeting from 9am till 1:30pm. Damn, got no breaks for pee even. After lunch I decided to 'kencing' all my appointment. Told my secretary to inform all that I am not attending the rest of the day meetings. I sent my staff. It's good to be the man.
I am so looking forward for tomorrow drive. Hope it's gonna be a safe drive to and back.
Man vs Dog

I have a colleague who just bought a dog. It a shitzu or shih tzu something. Her husband bought it for her birthday. It is cute and his name is Meow Meow. She said it looks like a cat. Get it? a dog that looks like a cat!
Anyway, they had a couple of fights recently because of the dog. She wanted him to be more responsible by picking up the dog's poo (LOL, it is in the job description of a husband) and he wants her to show more love to him instead of the dog. Typical la. She said he was too rough with the dog when grooming. He said he is jealous of the attention she is giving the dog. A classic case of he said she said.
This is the first test for this couple. If they succeed to compromise, then I think they are ready for a real one. A baby. For now, they should name the dog Satan. :)

Ferrari
Met a guy with not 1 but 2 Ferrari this afternoon. One is used for going to market and another is for track/serious driving. Wow! (He is Americans so it's ok to bring your F355 Spider to pasar)
He promised to bring back a Valentine 1 when he visits next time. What is it? It's radar detector. It's like a condom for car to protect from getting a speeding ticket.

Movement
Did you know that women's breast move 3 inches (up and down) during gym activities :P I did not know that! I have observed it but I did not know it's 3 inches.
This findings were reported as part of research by a bra manufacturer. They are trying to develop a bra that will provide required support.

Proton oh proton...

My new Gen2 (less than 1 year) has a problem. The front right wheel is making some frictional noise so I have to send it for rectification. This is where sometimes I do regret buying a Proton (even if it's the R3 version).
I made an appointment a week ago for this slot and I was at Glenmarie by 8:30am sharp and guess what? I have to wait for 45min for my turn. In 45 minutes I could be half way to Kuantan already in Scooby. In 45 minutes I could be making babies (notice plural - babies hehe). In 45 minutes I could be in Singapore on a flight. Haiyah...what a waste of time.
What cheeze me off even more is that the 45 minutes taken is not to fix my car, it was the time required for me to wait for a customer exec (whatever they are called nowadays) to attend to my issue. I am sure the mechanic needs 5 hours to figure it out! If I asked Ah Chai, sure kow tim in 30minutes.
Maybe Proton is for the masses. It is definitely not for me from now on. So next car will be a Honda Accord Type R before my Porsche. F**k, where to park all my cars lar...

Stuck in Singapore
I was attending a conference in Singapore this afternoon. I flew in on morning flight and am suppose to catch early evening flight out. I missed it by a few minutes. Now, I have to take the 9:55pm flight.
Lucky that I can lepak at the Golden Lounge to eat and surf. Dato' Azman Mokthar (CEO of Khazanah) is in front of me but I am too lazy to introduce myself. How to get up the ladder la like this!
The CPO forum this afternoon was a good networking channel. There were few key Global Directors involved and I was presenting to the roundtable to share my knowledge (like real only lar). Regional Director from Nokia also presented. At the end of the forum, I invited few of them to KL for another forum hopefully can be hosted by my company.
Thank god for the free wireless in the golden lounge. At least I can blog. Else I will be bored to death waiting...

Rainy days

I love rainy days. There is something about the rain that makes me wanna grab a nice hot cup of coffee and stare outside my window. Maybe the Nescafe advert is subliminally asking me to do it but I personally love it. I could do stare outside for hours.
The smell of rain also brings me to the good old days where I could play and stay outside until it stops. I would be running in the field with friends and play in the mud. I have no worries about dirty clothes or catching a cold, my mom will take care of my dirty clothes and I am invisible to flu when I was young.

You know...

You know you are old when:
-Rock songs sounds like rubbish
-You see doctor cause you pee too often
-Your blog reminisce of the 'good old days'
-120kph feels like light speed
-You wake up in the morning and thank god you are alive
-You cannot remember where your glasses are and you can't see well enough to find them
-You buy car for comfort instead of handling/acceleration
-You wear one of those granny / grandpa underwear
-You swear that kids nowadays are wearing it too low, too short, too revealing etc
-Your font in your PC is Arial 28. Else you cannot see even if with the your glasses on
Sunday Drive Part 2
Sweeeeeeet, we have the map for our Sunday drive. Looks very challenging and it covers over 200 km (not inclusive 60km highway). The road is very twisty and fast. Looks like there will be many cars and it's gonna be fun. It may take a couple of hours to complete the 'circuit'. ha ha ha
I won't be posting the map until Sunday. Just in case people got nothing to do and update the authority la!

Charity
I was invited to represent Management in a charity event held last Saturday. I thought it was going to be fun and I accepted. The event started with a convoy to Kuang from HQ at about 8:30am. I managed to squeeze in a nasi lemak (of course) before that.
The going trip was uneventful. I need to follow the bus with scooby. Boring boring..We reached the orphanage home within 30minutes and we unload some stuff to give to the kids. We started with a quick speech and then immediately after that followed by painting the hostels. I managed to sneak a few minutes playing ping-pong with the kids there before helping co-workers.
A kid named Sulaiman (8 yrs old) hung on to me for awhile and I showed him how to paint properly (I am no expert but I know what I was doing). The funniest thing happened. He asked cepu emas questions that stumped me. He asked why "Nabi Sulaiman can talk to jin". He followed with other questions that of similar nature - mind numbing stuff. I gave him a blank look when he asked that. But he was a cool kid. He just wants to talk to outsiders.
During lunch, one kid asked me if I drove scooby outside. I said yes and he started to talk abt cars. I like this kid :) I offered him ride around the area and he was elated. Later before we left, I drove him and a couple of friends around the village. They were happy and impressed. BTW, these are 8 year olds.
I drove home feeling a bit sad seeing what these kids are going through in their life. At the same time, I felt blessed to be able to share some time and do good deed for those kid.

Old Flame
I was a late bloomer. My first official gf was in 1980's. Before that, there were crushes but never a girlfriend. One of the reason was that my dad sent me to a boarding school in Melaka. It was a school with lots of religious study. I was an angel back then.
After SPM I moved to KL and that's when my eyes was open wide. I have unofficial gf in school. We exchanged notes almost daily ( I was shy ma and no sms yet back then). The notes will be written on a piece of paper and I would put it inside her table after school. She would reply and place it there for me to retrieve later. Ha ha so like that one...
At Uni, I gain more confidence and went on a date almost every week mostly with different girls. Some I like, some I don't. It was fun days. I am not a player. I was just naughty and curious. I played the devil this time.
All my old flames are married and raised a family (as far as I know). One is a dentist. I do not want to see her if I got toothache. She probably kill me on the dentist chair for dumping her. hehe. May they are found what they are looking for in life. Like U2 song, I still haven't found what I am looking for.

No More Mods

I have said this to myself many times "No more mods for Scooby" and as many times I failed. I am in a shakedown period now. Shakedown is a process where you drive the car as hard as possible to find faults in it. This is normally done pre-race to ensure all components were fitted well and will work as planned.
Scooby is in her shakedown period. As you are aware, I have just upgrade scooby with some niceties (read my previous post). As you improve some parts, others might break. That what's happened yesterday.
On friday afternoon, my fuel bleed line dislodged. I can smell petrol under the hood. Fortunately, I managed to get scooby to workshop else she will catch fire (this has happened many times with other scoobies relatives). Got that fixed.
Last night while I was on the way for dinner, I drove as hard as I can, lo and behold the Y hose under the intercooler dislodged. It was at 10pm and scooby was stuck right before Damansara toll. Called Ah Chai and he came to fix the car. Talk about good service. (I spent a fortune with him, of course he provide good service)
I drove back at half past midnight and engine check light came on. I erased it with my diagnostic tool. It was Error code P0506 (Low idle RPM) then I went to sleep.
Today after the orphanage visit, the check light went on again. Bast*rd!. I checked with my tool again and P0506 came out. I drove straight to Ah Chai shop. He increase the RPM mechanically and Scooby is well again.
This is the process a man has to go thru if he likes to mod. It is not for the faint of hearts. I am so looking forward to the sunday drive next week. News has spread that my car is newly modded. I am a marked man....he he he

Sunday Drive

Cool, Subaru guys will have a sunday drive on 20th April. The advice were simple: Do not bring rear passenger, top up fuel, ensure car in tip top and ensure tyre pressure is correct.
Know what that mean? Let me translate.
1) Do not bring rear passenger
=> On twisty road, rear passenger will get dizzy
2) Top up fuel
=> No petrol station for a while (especially if your car is powerful and 'drink' petrol like a tank)
3) Ensure car tip top
=> All cars will be fast. You cannot drive flat out if car is not tip top
4) Tyre pressure correct
=> Normal driving vs hard driving requires different pressure. Type will 'botak' if pressure is wrong after a hard drive.
Anyone wants a ride? He he he..
Cuticura

If some of us remember, there is this bedak Cuticura that has been in Malaysia for the longest time. I was informed that the Cuticura brand started in 1850 (plus minus 60years la) and the talcum powder is sold in cylindrical orange/white container and normally can be found in mamak, Mydin or some Chinese store. The cost ranges from RM6 to RM6.50 for the big bottle.
I find it interesting that there are still people who are loyal to this brand. In my home when I was a kid, my mom used to buy for the whole family. But ever since I left for boarding school, I never use the talkum ever since. In fact, I do not use talcum powder at all not. I use EDT now he he he

Papers and more papers
Doing what I am doing, I have sh*tload of proposal papers to read. I am behind my reading cause I believe in life balance...or is it procrastination. ha ha
My boss actually reads his mail mostly in the morning. He would wake up early and reply mails from home then he will be driven to office. I am sure while in the car, he is responding to email as well. The trick is to send him mail at night and when you wake up, hes response will be waiting. if you send him in the morning say around 10am, you might not get any respond till the next day (unless it's urgent la)
So I need to find "that" time slot. It seems that everybody has this 'not enough time' syndrome. Some goes to gym in the morning. Maybe I need to have this early morning thing schedule as well. That means I will be sleeping fairly early...hmmmmm

Thailand sweet thailand

Grace blog reminds me of my past life working in Thailand. Ah Kow and I were working in the same project and I believe that Ah Kow has more fun than I did. His team member includes a couple of pretty Thai ladies that will listen to his every word.
For me, the project gave me a bit more than what I bargain for. As part of client relationship management, I was invited for a dinner somewhere quite far from my apartment and I accepted it. We were there drinking (coke for me and beer for him) but I heard the beer was good. The restaurant brew their own beer and having fun watching the show. (PG 13 rated ok)
After dinner, my client was driving me back to the apartment and drove straight to a roadblock. Kena already. His alcohol level was high (normal after drinking lots of beer) and I did not have any permit to drive in Thailand. Therefore I am not able to drive him back. Anyway, his alcohol level is so high that it is mandatory for him to go to the police station.
So we went to jail and sat there for a few hours until he is a bit sober. We paid 10,000 baht (1000 bucks) in fine and he drove me home. It was kindda funny when you think about it now but I bet the 2 ladies with us did not find it amusing LOL. BTW, just so you know, we did not do anything stupid with the ladies...
Ultraman

I love to watch old Ultraman series. There is something calming about being able to predict the outcome. The themes are very consistent in all the show.
The monsters always lose and Ultraman always wins. The building damaged by monsters will always be empty. Ultraman always has his alarm beeping before he really trash the monster. Nobody knows who is the ultraman in human form. They cannot figure out that when Ultraman is fighting the monster, one of their colleague is always missing.
If only life is that simple...

Scooby has more power

I just took Scooby back from Ah Chai today. She has new throttle body, induction hose, fuel pumps and new brain. Ah Chai also changed few old worn out parts as well which is due to be replaced. But the best part is her new brain.
Ken from Edge Tuning - Singapore (turn out he is Malaysian - talking about brain drain) came down and brought Scooby's new brain. After some wiring work, he tuned Scooby to the max. According to him, my engine is still good thus the numbers are on the high side for a standard Rex (that's what they call Scooby in other country)
My dyno chart showed 228bhp at wheel. It may not looked much but that is an increase of about 50horses from standard (25% hp increase). This also translate to 270-280bhp at flywheel. Wah! I am impressed.
I am a bit worried cause the exhaust sound louder a bit and there is smoke coming out from exhaust. The guy said the smoke is temporary. I hope so.
I drove it out and the first straight road I see...pedal to the metal lar. Damn, the car accelerate faster and it feels lighter. The torque started somewhere around 3500 rpm. There is a lot of difference. He he he ........... I love it.
I am happy but very much poorer. This is probably the last significant mod I am going to do. It is getting to be a very very expensive passion.
3 Words
Man and women are worlds apart in that we process our thoughts differently. We may see the same event and hear the same sound/words but we process differently. Man is straight forward animal. Women is something a man will ever figure out...ever...ever.
So, what are THE TOP 3 words men and women are longing to hear in their lifetime? Look below
Women:
1) I Love You (if you are into Jerry Maquire - You complete me)
2) Will you marry me?
3) I am sorry for ...(best if uttered by a male and add something like this "... forgetting to put the toilet seat down/up" or ".. not asking for directions")
Men
1) Wanna have sex? (best if uttered by a hot babe)
2) Here's the key to your brand new Porsche sir
3) Let's make love...
Yes, yes I know the 3rd one is the same as the first but IT IS TRUE. As I said, male species are pretty straight forward. They were created by god to procreate. They cannot help it. It is not their fault. It was hard coded in their genes. Bastards...LOL

Nothing On

I was at home the whole day today and sad to say there is nothing on TV worth watching. Heroes 2nd season has ended mid way. Top Gear are being repeated at NTV 7. CSIs are also not new. Lucky there was F1 in the evening.
I do not normally watch TV many many hours but of late I need a break from work and TV allows me to 'vegetate'. It was mentioned in an article that the more a person watches TV, the less brain activity there is. That's why I watch TV nowadays. I want to stop my brain from thinking too much.
Rolex Watch

I was pumping petrol on Thursday in KLIA when a guy approached me. He showed me a Rolex watch (just like pic) and said, 'Datuk, mau beli ka?'. I was like, what the heck! Out of curiosity, I asked him how much. He said, 'Datuk, 1500 saja'. Now I was like WFT. I said no thanks to him.
He was persistent and my tank was empty (so the fueling takes longer). He showed me the watch again and use my car key to scratch the glass and it leaves no mark. I asked him where he got it from and he said.......are you ready for this?.......
'Pecah rumah datuk'. WTF....this guys for real? I said no again and he asked me again how much I want to take it. I said I only have 50bucks and showed him my wallet. He said, 'Datuk, seratus la' Haha....from 1500 to 100bucks. Funny, stupid but gutsy guy.
I actually have more la but I thought if I buy, I am supporting 'robbery' as an occupation. I don't blardy know if it's a fake watch anyway. (Me car guy, not watch guy)
TT Story Continue....
It was already 1am Saturday morning and most of us decided to 'balik' la. Some has curfews and some just need to pee. I am the latter. (No toilet at gerai tepi jalan). On the way back an Evo has to refuel. It took the Evo half the tank to go from PJ to KLIA.....hahah..
So there I was driving back from Sepang to home. Once I hit the highway, I was driving at 200 all the way. Managed to drive at 220 for few minutes to test scooby. I believe there is more but the traffic was getting busy. There were slower cars on the right lane but once they saw me coming fast most of them give way. There were a couple of idiots of course.
Once almost reaching Subang Interchange, a BWM 1 series (like Grace one lar) was interested to play. So for few minutes he/she followed me at speed. It was drizzling so I reduce the speed to 180 and he followed. Not bad eh! Then I decided to up the speed another 20, he pulled back. I bet if Grace was driving she will follow me...hehehehe..
Managed to release some pressure (aka pee) at Petronas Station before going home. All in all, it was a good outing. Now I just need more power to catch up with some of them....

TT in April
Last night was an interesting TT. Uncle Hamdan bought his new baby out. He just bought Honda Integra DC5 Type R. Sweet revving machine. He changed the ECU to Hondata and changed the exhaust as well. It was fast. It has 205hp at wheel!
There rest are the usual suspect. En Meor with his fire breathing Skyline GTR. I call fire breathing cause if you tail-gate him too close, your bumper might get burned. Yes burned cause his exhaust spew out extra fuel that will burned and leave 4 ft trail of fire. Ha!
There were about 20+ cars and we all drove to KLIA for fun. The traffic was heavy at Jalan Duta but clears out by the time we reach past Shah Alam. We were driving in convoy at 200KM per hr at some stretch. Imagine 20 Subaru in a line driving past! It was a rush. A guy from Nilai joined us too.
As usual, we talk cock and talk about upcoming trip to Langkawi (maybe). Open road in the island and a bunch of Subaru's creating havoc Wohooo....
I'll blog about the trip home later...

Exciting
I am very excited now. Just called the tuner and he will drive down Monday. I called Ah Chai (my mechanic) and confirmed the appointment. He recommended me to replace the intercooler, throttle body and fuel pump before the tune. Damage: $$ Too much!
Intercooler
Intercooler
Fuel pump (very small)
I will send Scooby to him tomorrow and Monday. It's gonna be expensive but worth it! (I hope)Thursday, April 3, 2008
Relationship
I am no expert in relationship but I am going to give a try in explaining to people (mostly guys) on what it is and what it is not.
Imagine you are buying a car. Advertising brings you into the showroom. You came because the car is attractive and has features that you like. You do not know if you can afford the car or if you like it but you are interested enough to go to the showroom. Like relationship, you get closer cause the women has features that you like. This by no means you are going to marry her or anything. I call this Step 1 - Advertising.
Once in the showroom, you get closer to the car and see her from the front, rear, kick her tyres and knock on some panel. If you are lucky, the door is open and you can see the dashboard, play with the steering wheel and seats (please no dirty thoughts here!). In relationship, you have to see her up close inside and out (inside her heart la - what were you thinking lar). I call this Step 2 - Suspecting
At this point, we may decide to not commit as the leather interior may not to our liking or the steering wheel does not feel right.
Sometimes, keys are available for you to test drive. This will be the final evaluation. You would check how she handles at corners, take a speed bump and do emergency brakes. See if you could live with it on a daily basis. If the suspension is harder than your liking or it handles not so well, you may not want to commit. I call this Step 3 - Prospecting
The last step is called - Sale\No Sale. This stage, you will decide if you want her or not. You have invested some time in all 3 step and because she is one-of-a-kind, you need to decide. Else other buyers are waiting. If you decide to commit, it the Step 4 - Sale stage. If not, it's Step 4 - No-Sale stage.
This process is true regardless if you are male or female looking for a car..errr...relationship. Unlike car, the person is also evaluating you and may decide to 'kick-your-butt'. There are casualties in every stage so fret not. Sometimes the car you buy is nice to look but hard to drive. Sometimes it depreciates fast. Sometimes you may want to modify it to enjoy it more.
So there you are, some thoughts from a guy who is still looking for his Porsche (the car la)

Friendship

I would like to think that I have lots of friends. I have 'facebook' friends who happens to be real friends. I have subaru friends, I have childhood friends and I have school friends too. I am going to attempt to categorize these friends into my type.
Type 1 - Friends I would like to go to holiday with
Type 2 - Friends I would like to drive fast with
Type 3 - Friends I would like to spend more time with
Type 4 - Friends that I would date
Type 5 - Friends that will be most likely to help me when I am in deep shit
Type 6 - Friends that I don't give a shit
Type 7 - Friends that can stand my shit
lastly...
Type 8 - Friends that would stand by to me if my sex tape got leaked into the net (hypothetically speaking lar)
The list above is not exhaustive. It is only some of the 'fun' ones. So now my friends, you need to guess where you are on my list.....and I need to know if you have such list as well. LOL

Jeli Trip
Thought I share with you my trip with Subaru guys from KL-KK-Jeli last year in graphical form. The map shows the road and speed we were travelling. There were about 15 cars and we slept in Kuala Kangsar that night. If Germany has Nurburgring, we Malaysian have 'Bandingring'. Malaysia Boleh lar!Recently, a whole bunch went to Kuantan for some R&R and they showed their trip pictures to me. Meleleh air liur a bit. I missed it due to sickness and other commitments.
We are planning another trip middle of the year. It's gonna be fun especially when by then Scooby will have more horsepower.

Just got my blood pressure statistics this afternoon (see actual graph above). According to the reading, I am fine...hurray.I have some interesting observation:
1) At home, my pressure is lower on average ( I was watching TV maybe)
2) Pressure remain constant despite me watching Rally of Argentina and do work at midnight
3) I went to sleep at 2am - the pressure reduces until I woke up at 7am
4) 10am today the pressure went up a bit. I was in my staff meeting.
Based on other report that comes with the graph:
1) My average Awake reading is 129/83
2) My average Asleep reading is 115/65
3) My average Overall reading is 126/79
This is like my scooby meter reading :-)
Oil pressure?...check
Water temperature?...check
Boost pressure?...check
Clear roads?...crap, all roads congested!!!
Still Working
It's slightly over 1am now and what am I doing? Working and blogging at the same time. What a life. I thought I do not have to work hard in later years of my life (like right now la) but here I am ....working (ok finished already - just read thru a whole blardy contract document)
There is no shortcut to success. That's all I can say. If you want something, you need to work for it. Unless my father is Sultan of Brunei, in which case, I would have more cars than Naza showroom in PJ and my girlfriends are named by days - Monday, Tuesday....etc. I am not THAT lucky!
In cases like these, a man needs his vices. I do not drink (ok, that's not entirely true - I drink....water, coffee and other stuff occasionally). I do not do drug (other than panadol once a while) and I do not sleep around (because I am not Sultan Brunei's son - cannot afford to have many girlfriends and am not a bastard). I do cars, I do talk cock and I adore women in general. Key word - ADORE not DO!
Time to go to sleep now and dream about how nice it is to be the Sultan's son......
