On Monday and Tuesday I went to KL for a couple of dinners. On Monday I met up a friend and I had to fight the traffic to reach there on time. On Tuesday, I had to attend 'open house' in Mandarin Oriental and again the traffic was bad. It was further compounded by the weather.
This got me thinking. So far I am pretty lucky to live 15-20min from work. Most of the time I would leave house at 8:20am and will reach office at 8:45am (plus minus few minutes). Traffic is pretty minimal. That's about 50 minutes of traveling a day. Not bad considering some people travel 1hr plus to work daily due to traffic.
I have also realized that when the fuel price increased, the traffic was better. People either car pooled or leave their car@ home and took a bike. When the fuel price was reduced recently. the traffic reached 'madness' level again. Something got to give as always...
