Handicapped by 100+hp

I was having dinner with friends at Curve till 10:30 tonight. The dinner was good as expected. As tomorrow is a working day, we had to break up early.

I drove my Gen2 out and by the time I reached somewhere before the Damansara toll, a bright headlight was behind me. Wah, it was a Golf GTI (RM200K+ and 200+horsepower). He was driving fast and was overtaking on the left (banyak kereta ma!).

Me being me of course cannot tahan, so I followed him la (remember I was in my Gen2). GTI is a damn fast car. After the toll, he was 200m in front of me before the left turn to Subang/Damansara. My car of course was maxed at 5000+ rpm. Cannot go any faster but I took the corner at full speed anyway.

By then he almost disappeared but luckily the traffic was heavy so I managed to catch up by the time we were at Subang exit. He continued to drive like mad man, overtaking on the left multiple times. I also did the same (but I gave signal ok). By the time we were under the bridge near Shah Alam, I was still behind him by a car length. Hahaha...sweet.

I created a MasterCard advert in my mind:
A fast car = RM200,000
Car Horsepower = 220bhp
Unable to shake off a RM64K, 120bhp Gen 2 = Priceless

I must have pissed him off that he slowed down to see what car was trailing him. Imagine the shock when he saw my Gen2. Muhaha...muhahahah...(my evil laugh). He overtook me and turn left to Shah Alam/Bukit Jelutong exit. My Lucky day I said to myself. I took the corner at full speed (as much speed as I can without terbalik) and I was still behind him by the time we reached the toll. After the toll he disappeared to Bukit Jelutong while I turn right to Shah Alam.

I got my adrenaline 'fix' for the week....
