All car clubs, formal or informal club, would normally have their TT in the weekends. I know BMW did theirs on Friday. Saturday is Subaru Kaki time.
All of us were at rendezvous point in PJ by 9:15pm. There is a guy from Southern chapter (from Johor) who joined the TT this time. He was on business trip but managed to lepax with us this week. There were 30 cars in total. Among us, there were approximately 9000 horses in the parking lot. Sh*t, that's impressive by any standard.
We decided to go to Bangi for TT and will adjourned to Putrajaya for a quick session. We convoyed to first destination and discovered the restaurant was full. Saturday ma, what do you expect! We then decided to drive straight to our second destination. The location was Putrajaya Lake Club (overseeing the lake of course). Nice place to have teh tarik and chit chat. (Note: a Teh Tarik cost RM4.50 here)
As usual, the discussion revolved around cars. All of the spouses who came along were very sporting. They didn't mind the testosterone injected discussion. It's funny that they are also into cars. (Lucky bastards, find me a women like that and I am happy).
We all left around 1:30am after checking out each others car in the parking lot. They were planning for a trip end of March to Cherating during this TT. Unfortunately, I can't go due to work commitment.
Needless to say that I pushed the car to the limit just to stay within the group during the drive. Gears were changed short of redline and I am still not any better. Time for CPU remap, a new fuel pump and a sport clutch......
