I went to donate blood this afternoon to SJMC. The first time in over 5 years. Can't remember how they did it last time.

So I fill up the form, the nurse took my weight (74kg) and asked me to sit. A minute later, she asked me to sit in another room with nice bed, Astro and all. "Jerry Maguire" was showing on HBO. She took my blood pressure (120/85 if you must know) and asked me to squeeze her heart harder. Ok, ok, it is a small stress ball shaped like a heart.. (what were you guys thinking la).

She cucuk the needle in and blood was rushing out into the bag. In five minutes, I have donated 1 quart. Feel very manly indeed. The other guys on the next bed was taking ages to fill the 1 quart bag. Nurse said his vein was smaller thus lower flowrate. Yes, mine is BIGGER....heheheh.

Anyway, Grace, hope your mom gets better soon!
