Fast & Furious TT

Damn good TT last night. Felt like I was at Fast and Furious movie set with wild cars, loud exhaust, cool body kits, rare Subarus, Subaru on steroids and 1 Skyline GT-R (ex-subaru guy). The only thing missing was the ladies. None was around. (They might puke if they followed us last night hehe)

As normal Subaru TTs are quite fun. Last night was no exception. The secret location was unveiled at 9:30pm. We are going to drive to Putrjaya via the new highway. Wohoo.....

There were 20 cars last night. Andy brought his 3yr old kid. (He has a racing child seat if you must know). After a quick chat as some of us have not met since last year, we were off. The convoy was led by an Evo 8 (Uncle H). The last car was Fuji and middle was Adil. (Last car suppose to ensure no cars as left behind at any point during the journey)

In our convoy, there is one rule - do not overtake the lead car (in this case an Evo 8). The lead car will set the 'pace' of the convoy. Legendary car Subaru STI Spec C Type RA (a mouthful I know) cannot make it due to a puncture detected at rv place. Uncle Shah went home and join the crowd with his Merc later that night.

10:00pm, off we went thru Damansara, Jalan Duta, Jalan Tun Razak and a couple of tunnels later we found ourselves on the new highway (via Jln Chan Sow Lin). From my rear view mirror I can see Subaru's all the way back. Yes, we are a disciplined bunch (at that moment)

Went thru the touch & go and all hell broke loose. We were warned that the first 2 corners are a bit sharp (2 cars got into an accidents recently around the area - not subaru). Everybody drove carefully but man was it fun. We overtook cars left right and center. The lead car set the pace. We were traveling between 160-180kph (at some point I reached 200). Everybody seem to 'test' their car against each other and the exhaust music reverberate from our scooby's were fantastic. The new highway was awesome as well. Some sharp corners, lots of straights and smooth.

We reach our destination and had teh tariks and stuff. We left at 12:30 and made a stop at Pertonas station when five-0 (police la) came. They thought we were racing in Putrajaya (how dare we..heheh...not in Purtajaya la, too many traffic lights). Uncle H kow-tim the five-o and we convoy back half way before everybody goes separate ways. I and 10 (his plate number) convoy back to Shah Alam.

It was a good night for all of us. No engine blown, no speeding tickets, no roadblocks, no accidents and best of all - we are all still in one piece. Can't wait to do it again.
