Missing Workout


I have been skipping gym lately. Actually I have been skipping for 2.5 weeks now. Sh*t. I have been slacking (although it's true that's life and work have been very very hectic - it's 8:45pm and I am still in the office now)

To think of it, I have been going to gym since 2004. The 'trigger' was a visit to doctor in the same year. He said that I have pre-hypertension and I could be dead if I do not change my lifestyle. I was working with a consulting company and was traveling quite a bit. Stress+Food+No Exercise+Gene= hypertension......

What would you do if you get this advice? For me, I quit my job, exercise, eat less and repeat (except for quiting - I did it only twice since then). Granted, I do not have the best bod given that I have been going gym for few years. I was not doing it to get buffed or anything nor do I think that 'my body is a temple'. I just do it to reduce my blood pressure and look at women. (20% of female population at the gym are in the 'hot' category)

To get 'buffed' you need passion and time. I have none of those. My passion is towards my car and women (not in the hamsap way la). I believe that women don't generally like muscled-arnold-like man. They like athletic man. Muscled man don't have time to focus on the women. They focus on themselves too much.

I will go to gym tomorrow.
